Having a healthy weight requires a healthy life style.

Apart from the physical items, we consume, we also let in impulses through our other senses. Sights, sounds, smells, tactile experiences deeply influence us, and determine more of our well being, than we might imagine, especially living in a city or suburbia.

We are connected to Nature through our senses, and through the elements of Earth, Water, Fire and Wind. The water elements is of particular importance in the area of WEIGHT MANAGEMENT: since the human body consists of approximately 60% water.

Do your best to stay hydrated during the day by drinking clean water. Sometimes, when you feel "hungry" you might just be thirsty...

To give the best foundation for a healthy weight, we must spend time in Nature every day; touch the Earth, maybe via gardening or a forest walk; go for a meditative stroll along the beach; get out and let the wind blow through your hair and feel it on your face; take in the natural, sensory experiences, whenever you can.

Any creative activity, which takes your mind off stress, and your body to a relaxed place, will do wonders, especially if you are determined to make them part of your life on a regular basis.

Hatha Yoga, Breathing Exercises and Meditation are excellent ways to relax the mind and strengthen the body, and I strongly recommend you take up these activities and integrate them in your daily life as much as possible.
