HATHA YOGA ASANAS

"Hatha Yoga Asanas" are certain postures, which originally was intended to give a Yogi/Yogini the stamina and strength to endure longer sessions of sitting meditation. The Asanas, as well, work together with Meditations and Pranayama to build a more flexible and healthy body and mind, long term.

I have chosen to introduce the Asanas in a way, I consider safe, gentle , at the same time very efficient, whether you are looking for flexibility, strength, wanting to loose weight or simply to form and shape your body and mind in a certain way.

As you probably know, there are many ways of practising Yoga.

The way I have learned Hatha Yoga, and the philosophy behind it for me is to work with your body and mind; not against them.

Yoga for me is a dance; slow-motion; Yoga has a lot to do with where and how you focus your gaze; it is the silence in listening to your body; Yoga for me is to let the breath be as slow and silent as possible; not forcing anything.

Yoga for me is opening up, stretching, relaxing; just being in the moment; just being aware; Yoga is magic, if you let it be that; the silent whisper of the leaves in the wind; the soft feeling of water at the beach on a warm summer day; Yoga is the connection between me and the elements; through Yoga I stay in touch with Nature; being in touch with Nature I find myself.

You will never know, just how beautiful and healthy you really are until Yoga opens the doors to your innermost being...
